Think about the most mythical club for any respectable LLaMa. Think about working with the best LLaMa RL manager ever. Think about landing a job in a club with continental reputation. Think about getting paid £20k/week and having a £20m transfer budget...
Think about managing Auxerre \o/
Humble beginnings
05/06: Imortal - Second B Portugal
Did surprisingly well, ended a surprising 2nd.
06/07: Imortal - Second B Portugal
Managed to get promoted, but my ageing squad needs youth blood.
07/08: Imortal - Second Division Portugal
We somehow manage to agonisingly grab 3rd and last promotion spot with the young blood.
08/09: Imortal - Superliga Portugal
Managed to end a creditable 11th despite our quite evident weaknesses.
09/10: Imortal - Superliga Portugal
Despite our very limited budget, some audacious transfers take place. Squad starts to deliver: 4th and Uefa Bound.
Uefa Cup adventure was quite a miss. Werder Bremmen quickly sent us out of Europe. Some important dressroom trouble made me rushedly accept an exit. Destination Wales.
Come to think of it a bad move, but I didn't know back then.
Managed to grab the last Playoff spot and lost in the Final against Birmingham.
11/12: Swansea - L1
We stormed League One breaking some records in the way, but I started to feel unsettled.
Some serious disagreement with the way the board was managing finances, combined with the fact that recently promoted Boavista offered me a caretaker job meant I was headed back to the starting place.
Boavista's playing staff was a major surprise. We steered out of relegation trouble and managed to end 4th in the League.
Portuguese FA offer me the National Side job.
13/14 Boavista - Superliga Portugal.
Nice UEFA cup adventure (exit in first knockout round due to cheater Turks and bad Spanish refereeing) combined with decent League performance which saw us split the Big 3. We're still ages away from Benfica though.
Portugal made it to quarters, where Brazil duly spanked us. Fell on my sword.
Dreams are made of this
14/15 Auxerre
Out of the blue I receive a phone call from :hail: Guy Roux :hail: asking me if I would be interested in working with him.
He offers a quite interesting pay package and a hefty transfer budget.
The plan was stay in Portugal until my reputation was big anough to grant me a job in France or Germany and then work my reputation there until some big Italian/English offers came.
I thought of it as a shortcut when I accepted the offer. Once there I saw I couldn't attract the interest of any other English club, so I had to backtrack.
I must say the career is turning quite very much how I had thought about it (if you take the Swansea spell out, of xure).
Auxerre is a good team, and you are probably going have a good spell there. Maybe you could even continue there, and not go to a big english/italian team.
Or, you could make a move to Parma, and turn them into something more like a football team. :p

That is my current career plan to a T. (except with diffrent countries).
For Portugal read Switzerland, Germany = Holland, and Swansea = Canvey Island
