So im manager of Puerto Rico..

How do you qualify for the qualifiers of major tournaments (World Cup, North American Gold Cup)??

Puerto Rico are, according to Wikipedia one of CONCACAF's worst nations. And as a result did not play in the World Cup qualifiers for 2006 nor the qualifiers for the 2007 Gold Cup. I would imagine that Football Manager reflects this fact that they do now play qualifier or indeed ANY official FIFA games.

Yeah that would make sense but surely me getting to them to about 100th in the world (higher than some teams that are in qualifiers) i would get the opportunity to qualify myself?

The Carribean Cup and something else are / were often used as preliminary qualifying tournaments for Gold Cup and World Cup qualifiers iirc.

Don't know if that tournament's in FM?
