has anyone been offered a new contract when there original one is about to run out because every time my contract comes to an end i just get released.

Yep, had two new contracts so far as Man Utd manager. I do always get a message saying the board are considering whether or not to renew my contract, but so far they have done.

never had a contract simply run out, either I got sacked mid season (of course a very rare thing to happen ) or I got a new contract offer a few months before the end of the current contract.

Did the board say they expected you to win the prem within 2 years? Or did you up the initial expectations in order to get more ransfer money.

If either of these is the case then that is most likely the reason for your sacking.

If you're going to be a team like Chelsea then you need to be winning the league, just look what happened to Mourinho!
