Recently I have made a pack of shortlists, containing U21 players, who can be considered to be potential start.
All of these shortlists are based upon version 8.0.1, so you will surely be up-to-date with the latest gems, that can be found currently on the game. Whether the player you are looking for has a minus PA, or a fixed one, if he is young and has a great future, you will find him here!
You can find 3 shortlists in this pack, and all you need to do, is to extract them from the *.zip archive to "CDocuments and Settings\[Your Name]\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\shortlists". After you have done this, you can import these shortlists to your game, by going to the "Shortlist" section, clicking on the "Shortlists" button, and then on "Import Shortlist". They work like a normal shortlist, nothing special.
The pack contains the following shortlists:
- 8.01(-10), with 13 players from FM08, who have -10 for PA
- 8.01(-9) with 224 players from FM08, who have -9 for PA
- 8.01(fixed_170-200) with 69 players from FM08, who have a fixed PA, between 170, and 200
If you don't fully understand, what a random ability is, you can find my guide about Potential Abilities here(guide on Fever-Pitch). I hope it will give you the information you need. Another important thing is, that you will be able to locate all of these players in your game, only if you will play with a huge database, or if you will get a bit lucky.
These shortlists were meant to be exclusive to Fever-Pitch, but I have decided to post them here as well. If you would like to post it on other sites, please ask my permission, and I will be glad to accord it Please don't upload them anywhere tho!
