It seems that every time, the player shoots straight ahead, regardless of where he is in the box. Never in this new patch have I seen a player who shoots in the box but not in front of the goal make an attempt at shooting towards the goal.

My p[layers shoot left right and all over to be honest. Just out of curiosity do you just watch the key highlights?

I watch the full match. In your game, does the player shoot towards the goal inside the 6-yard box (not the penalty box, the one inside that) or straight ahead regardless of where the goal is inside the box?

Like I said all over most of my chances are in the 6 yard or penalty box.

The one thing that I seem to notice about shots being hit wildly off target is where the opposition GK makes a save, but the ball bobbles loose. I VERY VERY VERY rarely even see these go anywhere near the goal. Whether it is straight ahead or skewed off to the left or the right, they are hardly ever on target.

I also agree with raderick. It is obviously noticeable with corners. The near sided player heads it straight even when he is far away from the goal.
