i lost pat rice within 2 months, to Manchester city

yes it can happen in the game easily

1. your assmen is good and your a rookie manager that way he wants to work on his own

2. they offer him a good contract

3. he thinks he can do better at another club

4. etc

it realy does fit in reality to

i've lost costacurta (original ver when he was milan's assman) to palermo and neeskens (barca) to sevilla.

both times i replaced them with meulensteen

Even worse. I went for the vacant Charlton job but was rejected.... for my assisstant manager! I was well annoyed, lost out on a job AND my AM!
