Default An idea for FM2009

Well as I was going through the job section of fm 2008 I had little idea that I would like to see on the next game and that's to be able to be a scout or assitant manager or coach. Most managers have a job first before coming manager it would cool feature for example you could be scout for arsenal searching for player and giving them ratings, making your shortlist for your manager and you could get job stats for it and if you were good scout then you can move to bigger clubs and get offered promotions to assitant and then eventually become a manager like Sammy Lee. I think it would be quite a cool add-on to the game and would encourage alot more sales.

Id like to hear what you guys think aswell.

It has been suggested many times before & every time it is shot down in flames.

let me begin; it's a very, very bad idea. The game's called Fottball Manager for a reason.

Maybe they could implement something in between.
Rather than playingas an Ass. Man etc, you could create a history for yourself at these jobs. It would mean you could start the game unemployed, but you would have significant experience to be offered a decent job, without having to select "international player"

Yes. Very funny.

I like the idea of being an assisstant manager but not for FM09. In the future when other things have been fixed it would be welcome, give you a sense of achieving success from nowhere.

I do also love the idea of being able to create a history. This I would very much like to see in 09'.

What I would like to see in FM2009 is a option to take a Sunday League and build it up and gradually get them into the premier league. There is loads of teams out there that people would love to try, and get there team into the premier league and it will make it a big challenge. But then again it may be hard to pull off and have loads of bugs as well.

The Sunday League idea will never happen because it can't happen IRL & when I last checked the English football pyramid had about 17 tiers which makes it impossible to research if you wanted to take a border league side (lowest tier in my local FA IIRC) to the top.

As for acheiving something from nothing that's what LLM is about with the addition of a few ethics & guidelines.
