Bit of both really. Won the Championship, UEFA Cup and a few other things.

None whatsoever. The only bug I've seen is the one where players list themselves in their favourite personnel.

I consistently played 4-4-2 with Sheffield United, Birmingham and Leicester but when I took over Arsenal I switched the a 3-3-3-1.

I only ever used 4-4-2 in FM07 so I have changed my standard formation.

Much improved, movement is improved, changes in tempo visible. Albeit finishing awful and defending woeful.

Tbh the jerky match engine i experience and its doing my heads in. The shots on goal is annoying too but that doesnt bother me much because its the results that count.

I use my own tactic which changes nearly every game but usually just back and forward for home and away games. I was never really a good tactician in 07 but ive taken to 08 pretty well.

I like to have a mix. I'm Man City in my save so we dont have many 185-190 players if not any. I like to buy youngsters and farm them out on loan until they are ready for Premier League footy.

I usually play a 4-1-2-1-2 at home and a 4-2-2-2 away from home.

No i used to play a 4-3-3 with Liverpool on 07 and now im going back to the old 4-4-2 look.

Yeah the players take their time more and go slow on the ball like IRL and it looks alot more realistic.

I am not winning everything. I think my successes are realistic.

I have heard of the registration bugs in certain leagues, but since I am not playing one of those leagues, for me there are no bugs that are stopping me from playing the game.

There is one thing though that is causing me a lot of problem. Team morale goes down very easily after just a couple of bad results. This makes the team get into a losing run, which is very hard to overturn. For me, if a couple of losses can bring down the morale by so much, the effect of a couple of wins should be just asmuch in the opposite direction. I am not sure this is a bug though, I believe the game designers wanted things to be such, which is their call.

I have not had any prolonged success with any downloaded tactics. What works for me is the ROO framework and Googen's suggestions, not taken as it is but tweaked to suit my players strengths/weaknesses.

I don't care about current/potential abilities. I look at attributes when signing players. I have seen low PA/CA players with better attributes suited to their positions perform better than high CA players with not so good points in some key attributes.

I have only used 4-4-2 with variations based on arrows and player and team instructions.

I feel overall the match engine was more fluid in 2007 but in 2008 there are less stupid/unrealistic occurences.

As less as possible. I only use it when some opposition manager releases a comment before a game. Although that is more of manager interaction I guess. The pure media interaction, I just ignore.

No, at least not in its current form. That is why I don't use it.

[B]I would want the effect of team talks reduced and tactics increased. I have a feeling that currently teamtalks and media interactions have a far greaer bearing on results than what it should be. I would not miss much even if media interaction, manager interaction and team talks are done away with. [B]
