4-1-2-1-2, it's pretty much the same as I've used since FM05

Much more stable. There are still a lot of problems, but I do feel it's more realistic

No, I've stopped playing and gone back to 07.
I did achieve promotion with Notts County, and was pushing towards the playoffs in my 3rd season when I gave up.
Not gamestopping as such. Reasons why I stopped playing include the match engine (generally) and the board/fans confidence still being rubbish.
I was using preset tactics, with very little, if any, changes to team/player instructions.
I was Notts County, so I would have to say...no.
4-3-1-2 and 4-4-1-1.

Very. The virtual inability to defend, the lack of closing down, the ridiculous number of one-on-ones missed, slightly too many yellow cards, and player ratings being simply ridiculous.
No, no, and no. I'm extremely unhappy with having to wait until February for what I hope will be a decent game.
Possibly, but I'll be waiting to see the reaction from certain members of the forum. It'll be the first time since CM3 that I haven't bought it on release day.

Yes, but I think its very poorly implemented. It doesn't work, for one thing. I've complained about goals being given when they were clearly offside, only for the game to say replays show the goal was legitimate. And its impossible to tell whether it was a foul or not in the game.

In the short term - yes. I find it impossible to get through even one season so far though.

Not ever so much - Mid table with Newcastle and Espanyol, Top 4 with Arsenal. Nothing too special.

I wouldnt say 'Gamestopping', though I would say there are some very frustrating things, such as the match engine - things like Near Post Corners. As I said, not game stopping though.

No - I usually just take what comes, not sure if people like Kerlon or Pato come under this? I dont know peoples PA or CA

Most of them. Usually an attacking 442 does the job, with creative wingers, a universal formation for me really.

Yeah, the attacking 442 - same as FM07. I am not the best at all when it comes to tactics.

A lot different. A friend was on FM07 and it actually struck me that the match engine is a lot further away than it should be. There is nothing majorly wrong, though things like One one ones and Near Post Corners can be a pain.

I wouldnt go much further than 'satisfied'. All seemed OK to me, a few bugs but it is still good fun. As for the 8.02 release date - no problem. Why make one just before the transfer window? People would very quickly compain that the new database was 'out of date'.

Certainly, and with confidence. All these idiots which say no must understand that SI will have learnt from the mistakes of FM08 and they will make sure FM09 will be a lot better. That is their job.

No - not that I think it is a bad idea, I'm just not particularly excited by online stuff.

Yes

Yes very good. There is however room for it to improve.

Yeah - I spose going back to interaction, there is a lot of room for it to improve both on the Media side, and the players too. Team Talks and Media Interveiws are the most important thing for an overhaul in the future for me. A little bit of variation would be excellant.

Nope. Confindence almost made me stop playing at first, but you get uused to it.

Both. Used my own 4-5-1 tactic which was awesome but then I decided to play two up front (had two AMAZING strikers!) and couldn't be arsed to create a new tactic so I download one.

None of those 'super youngsters' but my team of regens have an average age of 20 and they won the quadrouple last season.

4-1-3-2, great success again. (not my tactic)

Struuggled with a 4-4-3 even though most players fly wth that formation.

More realistic in places, the worst 'feature' is the ability to have 50 shots in a match.
