if you've downloaded some kits, they may well be compressed as "rar" of "zip" files. if so, you'll need to download a program called winzip OR winrar, which will "unzip" the folder containing the kits. you can get hold of this program free.
if you've installed the game, you should have a "sports interactive" folder in the "my documents" folder. go to that. see if there is a "Football Manager 2008" folder, and open that. see if there is a "graphics" folder. if there is, go into that.
if not - create one by right clicking and selecting new > folder and naming it "graphics".
now, cut and paste any kit files or folders [as zip/rar files if neccesary] into the graphics folder.
right click on any zip/rar files and select "extract here".
if you're starting the game, the graphics should appear once its loaded up. if you've got a game currently running, then go to "options > preferences > display & sound" and press "confirm". this will reload the skin and all the graphics that it hadn't previously located.
bob's your uncle.
i think thats the fastest i can put it, if you're still having problems, reply back with whats going on
