When can we expect an editor for the WSM 2007 series. Those who bought the game have paid the same amount of money for it as those who have the FM version, however, we do not have the services and options available to us. There are many people who have the FM version and greatly enjoy having an editor, so it truly baffles me that there is not one for the WSM players. If SI is looking to expand it's North American market, creating a double standard for it's product across the Atlantic is not the way to do it.

Much agreed! And the reason why I won't buy WSM! I'm considering importing the UK verision, but should I really need to do that?

I have WSM too and am frustrated at the lack of an editor for this version of the game.

In fact Im totally flummoxed about why there are two versions of the game anyway...

Bear in mind though that most of the save game editors are made by users, not SI and as such its only a bit their fault.

There is supposedly a PC version of a save game editor for WSM in the works over at http://www.macfm.net/ but they recently redesigned their forums and I dont see an update there anymore...maybe/hopefully they will post one again soon.

I have the digital download verision, and there is not even a pre-editor! If you buy it, will they send you that much at least?

The FM version released by SI actually comes with an editor, yet there is nothing for the WSM digital download. Perhaps a refund is in order for everyone who has WSM, or at least allowing us to swap for the FM version for free. I'd be somewhat satisfied with that.

The patch includes the pre-game editor.

I am curious what version you have, I ask because I have the downloaded and CD version of WSM 07, and there is no editor in the folder suggested, there is HTML help regarding the editor and edit files, but there is no exe for the editor. ANYone have any further info ?

I too have MSM 07 and would like an editor...but seeing how the editors are made by third party users and not SI themselves, how can youguys be angry at SI.

And by the way even the digital download versions have a pre-game editor.
