I've made some minor changes in the editor (changed a few contracts and player abilities) and now the game crashes when loading the database when starting a new game. A dmp file has been created in the crash dump folder, but I don't know how to open the file. Anyone who knows?

You shouldn't open the .dmp file, you should upload it to us and we will have a look at it. If you could please post about this crash in the bugs forum, and maybe even upload your edited database to us, we will have a look at it and hopefully help you.
