I am considering running an edit which would simulate who has produced the best players for the game, and thus who has had the most effective youth system over the last few years.

To do this I'm going to have to move every player back to their original club, which is obviously going to take a long time.

I am starting it tonight, and have no idea how long it would take, I just wanted to see if there would be any interest in the edited db and whether or not I should make it available to download?

Also, if anyone has any guesses for who would be the best team in that situation, could be quite interesting.

do you mean players like Van Der Vaart goin back to clubs they started at. e.g VDV back at ajax.

if so i dont believe barcelona or real madrid would be the strongest squads. i think it may be AC Milan or Ajax or maybe even an English club deffinetly not arsenal being that they have so many french youngsters.

why not try moving players back to their Hometown clubs or the Biggest clubs nearest to thier hometown?

I did this in Fm2006 and was great fun ... but teams like Chelsea etc soon buy back the best players.

Leeds had Robinson, Woodgate, Kelly, Smith, Milner, Kewell and Lennon etc... good youth system and chelsea had Dubbery and Terry

Of course Arsenal had heaps of players but it was a good experiment.

So I'd be interested in your version because I only did the English leagues.

How did Arsenal have heaps of players? The only decent players I can think of are;

Sidwell, S.Taylor, Hoyte, Aliadiere and there is a few more playing in the championship but nothing special!

hahaha very true about the gunners...i dont think aliadiere should be in that list though cos he was brought from overseas wasnt he.
