I forgot to mention. I rarely have more posession than opponent, and shots vary from time to time. What I almost never see is an opposition player having one-on-one chances

Marseille, you are right, and had it been a localized occurance or a fluke season, I would agree completely.

But the three MoMs vs five MoMs is a constant on average. Season after season (at least, the seasons I bothered to get these numbers).

Chand, do you have a strong squad?
If you do, it could explain why you get 5 MoM keepers vs 3.

I'd be interested to know other team's MoM numbers; for example, I'd assume doormat teams tend to face fewer MoM keepers because they don't generate enough shots on goal to force keepers to shine. Whereas strong squad may have to force their ways into defensive opponents, resulting in facing many MoM keepers.
