I agree Jablome. There should be a feature where we would be able to save instructions for a specific player based on his strengths. It's rather tedious to have to change every instructions when you decide to shift your players around.
To Jablome and Evon: so what formation are you using? is it a conventional 4-4-2 or a 4-3-3?
Faruq, I use a 442 almost exclusively that was designed using WWFAN's newest concepts.

I like it! But we should be able to save them individually.

I use a 4-2-2-2 which is basically 2 MC's, the wingers at AMR/L. I also push my one of the MC's back to DM when I'm playing away. And wingers don't need CF to dribble. Ronaldo has low creativity so giving him lots of creativity isn't a good idea. I give him enough to have some degree of control over what he does. And that's precisely what his job is. To dribble and cross. Btw I don't use TM's. It's just 2 fast strikers up front.

Ronaldo has low creativity?? For me he is doing wonders. As for the crossing part I let the rest cross so that he and Rooney can work in front of goal.

I now agree with the point that winger with normal CF.
when i use the default winger setting, i found that its CF is around 12.
and with the default setting, C-Ron had 2 goals 4 assists in 3 Matches.
and i set all my players on default settings, only change the FWR,RWB etc. a little according to the condition.
i found that it works quite well. i benefit from the default set quite a lot, not only in the MEN,CF,but in the CD, Pass-Style.

I play a flat 4-4-2 with united.
Ronaldo-MR
Long shots: Rarely
Cross ball: Rarely
Run with ball: Often
Forward runs :Often
CF: 10
Give him a farrow towards the forwards not down the wing, this means he will cut inside and attack the CB's.

I like this. I am curious about your results with him. Also, is Rooney same side F C? And, if yes, does it cause him to push out a little and have CRon lay the ball off to him for some blasts at the keeper?
Lastly, you said 442 flat but you Darrow CRon. Is that your only arrow in the tactic?

So, I just played my first full season with Man U. And...I won the freakin' Treble!!! Lost the League Cup early, but won the rest including a 4-1 thrashing of Arsenal in the Champions League.
Okay, enough bragging and on to a question:
Here comes the second season. I play a flat 442. Usually long farrows. Scholes is great, but the stats are dropping. Do I go out and get a great young AMC like Raul Garcia, or do I add a solid, all round player DM like Mascherano or Essien and focus my attack thru Ronaldo as the play maker?
My thought is get a new AMC to eventually replace Scholes that will spread the ball around leaving Ronaldo to cause havoc up the wings.
Any insight would be appreciated.
