Does ronaldo need to cross so much?i think what he offers most is his inside cut.so mixed crossing will do.

Hi James,
Up to you, I would play him with crosses on often as he is a wide player. The free role means he will cut in more anyway.
Just my view |

Hi,leory:
i will have a try on it.
in my assumption,c-r will be more likely to shoot from distance. however, his long shot isn't so good that he wasted a lot of chance.
maybe i should have set the crossing to mixed

I play a 4-3-3 and even with Ronaldo at AMR and Giggsy in AML, I have Giggs cutting into AMC to supply Rooney and eventually Ronaldo (arrowed to FC)...actually my tactic is practically always a 4-3-3 but I spend a good amount of time before each match tweaking every player's individual instructions...in a sense it's always a 4-3-3 but every game every player's instructions are different, except for Ronaldo, whom I leave to run riot. The only downside I've discovered so far is that I base my game on him coz he is the one dominating with the dribbles and stuff, so I guess i know why Rooney isn't scoring (2 goals and 13 assists in 17 games)

THX.
By the way, i have a question for a long time.
it's about the 'Forward run'
What effection does it has actually?
for the strikers who set on always, they might be more likely to get into offside traps.
and what if i set a fc on rarely fw run? will he just stay aside the box?

Forward runs are all about player movement of the non-ball carring players when in possession.
They can be used to make you tactic more attacking or defensive and are especially useful to ensure you have passing options for your players.

| True, also try give him *hold up ball*
(he got the speed, dribbling, and strengt to hold the ball up) just try it and u will see a big dif from your W.Rooney.

To Cydver:
I'm extremely interested with your 4-3-3 tactics. Been implementing your settings for C.Ron and he has been extremely influential for the team. Do you think you can put up your tactic for download so I can test it?
