Hi I'm playing with AZ in Holland in my third season now. A short summary:
- 1st season tried to play 433 with more or less succes. Finished third place and winning play-offs for CL. I did manage to lose quite few games, but awfull lot of draws.
- 2nd season. Still started with 433 but had better players to play 442 so switched. Within c the first 10 games lost so many points that I was far fromchallenging for the title (and chairman and supporters begin to moan). Finished third again, but also won playoffs again.
I played 442 based on the standard 442, but with 4-5 different approached that I learned on this site (attck, defense, counter, possesion, control...).
- 3th season: I was still under pressure form chaiman and supporters but somehow I got the Holland Manager job offered(?). Now things look to completely go my way. In previous seasons I got very late equalizers or draws, but i'm now 6 games into the league and won 3times (5 total wins) 1-0, scoring in the last 5 minutes. Also, I won a great game with Holland, and suddenly I'm hot.
What has happened? I'm still playing the same tactics but it seems to work better somehow?
