I know its an old game by now, but was just wondering if any one had any good tactics when picking Milan? They have no wingers, so im playing 3 Midfielders in the middle with Rui Costa sitting behind the strikers. But it doesnt seem to work.

In truth CM4 was such a poor game that most players moved on quickly when the FM series came out- I doubt if anyone can remeber what tactic they used in that old a version of the game.

Ther standard 4-1-3-2 formation worked well for me up to FM 06 so give that a try altho the AMR and AML will have to be attacking.

Wasn't Diablo the best tactic for that game, or was it 03/04?

This depends on which team you are and whether you are at home or away- it is difficult to generalise but you would attack more at home so put long arrows on your 2 wingers at home and short arrows away and change the team mentality back towards defence away from home.

realy, the diablo was on that version..

and by the way, it was one of the best versions of the game IMO..

i remember we had a save me(Lecce) my brother(Sampdoria) and a friend(Parma), and in the seconed season i won the league..! i signed players like athirson(free transfer from juve), fabio firmani from the seconed division, roberto pasca(from serie c1, one of the best strikers in the game imo) and ghioane on loan from dinamo kiev.. ahh and a great young serbian central defender..
what a nostalgia..
