He's unhappy at lack of first team football at Inter in the first season and my scout reckons he's available for around 8m. I'm jsut wondering how good is he ?

For 8M he's an excellent buy. But you'll have to play him pretty regularly or else he becomes unhappy. He wasnt spectacular for me in my first game but he did score a few. Biggest quality is his big match performances. He always seemed to score against the likes oh Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham for me (Arsenal). He's got a reputation for being pretty selfish but he sure gets a lot of assits as well. I think you'll have to find how best to use him (TM or what) and he'll do great. But yeah, get him for that price. Pretty good. His wages are reasonable for a player of his calibre at around 45K. Even if he doesnt do great for you (same as in my case), you'll probably be able to sell him the next year for a huge profit. I bought him from 9.5M + 10% sell on at the start of the game and sold him to Chelsea the next season for 41M + 50% sell on fees!!!! :thup:

Two years ago he was a great player he just seems to have lost his form.

But remember form is temporary, class is permanent and I believe he will come good again.

He had a shocker of a first 10 games for me. Once he found his form his value went from $24M to $51M after the first season, which he scored about 27 times in.
