Hi, I am playing on FM07 with Atletico Madrid in my third season. I finished second in my first season and won the league last year mainly thanks to fernando torres.

I have 20Mil to spend and i need advice as i can't seem to find the right players. I need a quality striker and a quality centre mid and i am willing to spend all of it on those to positions.

I need quality and I am hoping you can help me.As I said i need a quality striker and CM with 20Mil to spend.

Get Defoe and Banega

Defoe is to expensive, £13.5 mil is his value so i would have had ro spend all my budget just on a striker , Banega looks affordable and good.

Has anyone ever had a Colombian striker called Falcao because i made an enquiry and River Plate came back and said £13.5. Is he worth it?

Who else do you have up front? I take it you bought Torres back from Liverpool and still have Aguero and Forlan? I can't really see why you'd need anyone else, possibly someone to replace Forlan if he isn;t pscoring many.

I am playing on FM07 , sorry for not making it clear. I have Torres , Aguero and Kerlon and i want another striker as backup incase of injuries and as that is the only position i am weak on now i want a striker.

I signed Banega and he looks good thanks for the tip diegowong.

He didnt buy him back mate. He said in his post he's playing FM07 not 08. I suppose he doesnt have the deadline Weegie update on that.

Anyway, you really dont need a very good striker because you've got Torres, Aguero and Forlan. All 3 are good, the first two amongst the best. You could make get a youngster in and try to groom him for a while? Play him in the smaller matches?

If you dont want a youngster, see how much Huntelaar will cost you. He's an excellent striker and will probably take Forlan's spot. He costs around 10M on FM08, not sure about 07 though. He'll give you an aerial threat as well in your games.

If he's too expensive, get Cesar Delgado. He's one of the best buys in the game imo. If he's still at his old club (Cruz Azul), he should be available for betwenn 3-4M. And I think he has a 6M or something release clause as well. He's really very good. Give him a go! :thup:

And yeah, Banega is good. But if you are happy with an AMC as well, get Nacer Barazite from Arsenal. He's got the potential to be one of the best. And he should be cheap (not sure though).

Read his posts. He DOESNT have Forlan, and to answer your question marcussorton, Falcao is worth that much. :thup:
