can ya play both on the same tactics? i mean i have van der vaart as a playmaker and torres as a target man, will it work?

I think you can. At PSV in the second season I play with Elmander (bought from Toulouse) as a playmaker and Koevermans as a targetman stiker (passes to head). Both scored about 20 goals this season.

Elmander also is the team's best player, by far, with an overall avg. rating of 7.56 in 50 games this season.
I play a variant of 4-5-1, by the way.
