In January first season signed gyan for bout 18 million however he didnt get a work permit.
Took him anyway thinking it wouldnt be a major problem and he was brought as a long term replacemnt for drogba anyway, however i have loaned him out and its going to take over 1000days for him to get a work permit!!! - anything i can do to speed this up? ideally i would loan him to an italian club for 180 days as that is all he needs but no italian team made me a loan offer.
Will he be granted english work permit any time soon??

Try offering him a new contract - sometimes worked in fm07 - not so sure in fm08.

how do you sign somebody if they cant get a work permit?

I have tried with my Oldham team but it just says the transfer has been cancelled.

Do you have to get a foreign feeder club or something??

Yeah i have westerloo and psv as feeder clubs but he rejected a move to psv and went to westerloo instead!?!?

When i brought him he didnt have any internation al caps but has since been to african nations so hopefully that might help him get a work permit.
