Idea that started from last year about praising great players in the world of FM2008 when LSTB did the Steven Gerrard thread then spawned a few more threads including one for Jamie Carragher in which I made.

So basic rules are this... only talk about the player in FM and not in real life and Cleon won't come down like a house of bricks.

Back to the subject in hand, given the right tactics such as SZJ's 4231 or something with him as a fast tactic, Fernando Torres will transform into a goal-scoring monster who will tear apart the top defenses of Europe's top teams.

He's on 26 goals in 20 games which is astonishing by my standards and I firmly believe he will get 50 goals by end of season.

He's alright in my game normally gets around 15 goals a season. I use a mixture of 4-4-2 and 4-3-1-2 though

I put him in the fast striker position in my tactic and altered it so he would be agressive and attacking and like he says he becomes a powerful striker who can work together with Steven Gerrard and Dirk Kuyt.
