Depends what team you are, what other players do you have in the AML, AMC or FC positions (wherever you intend to play him). He's a good player though so wont hurt since he's free.

Got Anderson , C.Tevez , W.Rooney and L.Saha in the third season.

Not really needed but he could make a good profit.

He wont be played and could unsettle team through being unhappy so is he worth the risk ?

i wouldnt bother. If u don't play him u might have trouble offloading him, and even then you may not get that much. And by the time you do sell him, you have already payed more in wages and signing in fees ^^

I have decided not to sign him and sign R.V.V instead as he is unhappy and his contract runs out in January.

Well I'd sell Saha as he'd be 31-32 by now. And then get Cassano on a free. But if you dont want to sell Saha for whatever reason, then dont get Cassano.
