For those who adopted normal standard regarding figures, distances, temperatures and so on; I take it that 1 in 9 is equal to 11%?

Looking great that. Never cycled in the Alps myself, did some other mountains though, but it sure looks very great.

Aaah. Only 4 months till the summer holiday \o/

More or less - 1 in 10 is 10%, 1 in 5 is 20%...

I'm hoping to be able to do Horseshoe Pass in Wales and Holme Moss and Snake Pass in Sheffield before I go to the Alps. They are steep bastards, but again, given our terrain, they are only hills (though both the Moss and the Snake are category 1 in the Tour of Britain).

If I can't do them, I am so going to be shagged trying the Alpe.

Hogie - I am mad, Liam is a good cyclist, though he does prefer flatter roads.

By the way Liam, I've sent you a couple of emails.

Good work, chaps.

Have you seen www.justgiving.com? You can set up to collect donations for various fundraising ventures: people pay by card and the cash goes direct to charity - with Gift Aid too.
