Ok I´m all new to this. FM 2006 is my first FM (or CM) game. So for me everything is a challenge....

I will first tell which team i chose, and why.
I chose Wrexham. Now I´ve been reading in the forum here and I´ve seen that not everyone is fond of this team. Let me explain and then maybe you´ll understand.
I´m all new to this game, and I like playing a game for a long time. So instead of choosing a big club with a `sugar daddy` I chose to be a unemployed manager.
After some time Wrexham approached me and I tought: why not?
By this time Wrexham already played 20 or so matches.

I finished the first season and ended up 16th. Not bad for a first timer right?
Now: I know that I should play three seasons before posting here. But I´m so addicted to this game that I have to tell this. And I´m only playing for a month or so!

So, If you lot would like to know more about this, tell me, please. And if you don´t want to know as well.

PS: I´m from Holland so pardon for my English.

We have a certain way of playing - and League Two isn't part of it. Read the forum header and guidelines thread in particular.

No, I´ve seen the Header. But it´s just that it is my first game EVER! I mean: alot of you have played other FM or CM games right? So for me it´s a big challenge. (that´s my vision)

But if you don´t want to know more then I will leave you guys alone. Let me know, thanks in advance

It's fine if it's your first game ever. We start in the lowest possible league here, though. Yes, when I first played 8 or so years ago, I chose a big name club to manage. Never since becoming a member of this forum, though.

If you'd read the header, then you'd know that League Two isn't lower league in these parts, so either you don't understand it, or you ignored it. Being a first timer to the game doesn't change the rules of the forum for you.

It's already been said that we don't want to know more about this save game, so there was no need to say that "if you don't want to know more" comment a second time.

Good luck with your save, but if you feel like posting in here, choose a team in the lowest playable league, play three seasons, THEN begin to update us on your progress.

Hey Niels.

Lower League is, by definition, the Lowest Playable Division in any given Nation. In England that's Conference North and South, Conference at a push and (from the Guidelines thread) League 2 "with reservations".

If you're serious about playing LLM then League 2's just acceptable for cutting your teeth on, but posting about it in here will be counter-productive as you'll get no encouragement at all from the regulars.

Good luck with it, but get into the Conference North or South as soon as possible, it's far more satisfying in the long run.
