So if I were new and read the guidelines for the first time I would think that Div 2 would pass as LLM.

If you read this in the context of llm chat it is very clear. First time readers may not get it but if you read a few threads I'd say it would be obvious. It's a trap for the unsuspecting...

guys he started unemployed and then accepted the first job that he was offered. It just so happened that it was a L2 team. As long as he is playing in the LLM spirit then what is the big problem. LLM is a way of playing the game and as long as he plays in the right spirit whats the problem?

I'd say fair enough, based on the circumstances he quoted. No-one asked him how good his PC is - if it doesn't run that well then he's well within his rights, according to the quoted guideline.
Obviously its easier to give him a hard time. I just think that on occasion that should be saved for people who richly and genuinely deserve it. Lets face it, there's enough of them.
That said, if he wants to do an update he should definitely write it in the accepted fashion.

Inderdeed, as I said above. I, personally, have no problem with someone cutting their LLM teeth on a League 2 Club.
Problem for me, and the other Mods, is that a lot of the regulars don't see it that way and think the best way to start swimming is to jump in at the deep end, and for that reason doing an update may cause acrimony and animosity and attract discipline, which none of us want.
Good luck to the bloke, and I say cut him some slack for fairness' sake |

We have the Second Post Theory. How about the Nobby Abuses Theory? As I didn't abuse Niels, then he's not done any wrong and should be welcomed that he wants to try LLM. He's not known to have gone into any of the forbidden places in the SI fora, and it is his first go at LLM. Like Ian says, he should be given a chance, not jumped on because his first go is in League Two.
Once Niels has played a couple of seasons with Wrexham and decided if he enjoys the LLM style of play, that's when he should start looking at the next new game he starts he goes into Conference North/South, or equivalent if he plays in a different nation.
Welcome Niels, hopefully you'll enjoy LLM and grow to enjoy this forum.
