when hiring staff, is it advisable to hire more than 1 scout? or would this be agaist the llm rules?

I was always at odds with Taipan on this Taips always said there should be a limit on scouts, I said that Hutchy Vale, a boys' club in Scotland, has about 50 scouts which is why Hutchy Vale are one of the best in Scotland and why shouldn't I have 50 scouts if I wanted.

Agreement was never reached.

When I'm in Scottish Division 3 or Conference N or S I try to sign 3 scouts, Now I'm in the EPL I have 5.

It's a cost thing. A skint club couldn't afford to hire more than one, a richer one could.

I don't know if it's the same with scouts, but I find that with coaches, if I try to hire too many I get a message saying something along the lines of "I don't want to come to your poxy club as there are already too many coaches". I assume the same may apply here but I've never tried to hire more than 2 or three so I've not had a problem.

I usually have about 3 scouts. This is enough as they are completely useless when I send them to a country, eg Ireland. Send them to UK & Ireland and they find tens of players. Go figure.

I've had the message when trying to hire a coach that he is "concerned that his opinion (or voice can't remember which) wouldn't be heard due to the number of coaches." Nice touch in my opinion.

With scouts, I just keep 2-3, and really have never had a need for more than that until I'm far higher up the ladder.

If my financials can handle it, I try to ahve a large coaching and scouting staff. But its based on the financials
