Thanks for the replies guys.

I'm fairly new to the Football Manager series so I still feel I'm bedding in, as it were.

Funny how I've never even wanted to start at a top club like my friend who introduced me to the game.

He's managing a bottom of the league side in Brazil now

The last time I got an update about the date of Luan's save it was somewhere in 2160 or so. Might have progressed a few decades more now.

Currently heading into my 9th season on my Falu game.

Managed 15 seasons on my Yeading/Eijdo game.

Always play until I stop enjoying it, or a new version of FM comes out
