Great season considering money is seeping out all the time. Cut out some of the dead wood and my scouts found some solid younger players from the non-leagues. The board offered me another one year deal but there’s no money to improve the facilities.

Still no money coming in. Despite my best efforts the wage bill is steadily rising and we are now over £300,000 in the red. My average attendance is around 600 so the gate isn’t helping. Time to change my selling policy and lose some of the better players. In the close season 7 homegrown youth players arrive which might give me a bit of breathing space. The first team struggled to score all season so the old tactics blackboard will get a tinkering over the summer break.

Had a chance of finishing 2nd to make the play-off until a dodgy run-in. Sold players whenever a decent bid came in which included an offer from a First Division side for my top striker which included a £1m after 40 league goals clause - I negotiated to 10 goals and they accepted!! By the end of the season he had already got 4 for them so payday comes next season. An attacking mid with really promising stats came through the youth team. I won’t play him the first team yet but he is already pushing for a place.

£1m richer!! - The Danish First Division club paid up on time in one payment - sort it out SI!! Don’t think it would happen really. In other news we ripped the league apart, scoring goals for fun. The youth players combined with some quality Swedish freebies (an Swedish 19 capped goalkeeper and a left winger) to produce a great season. I was linked with numerous First Division jobs but turned my nose up at of them to take Holstebro into the First Division.
