10/11
Pos2 P30 W19 D6 L5 F54 A23 GD51 Pts63 - Promoted to Danish Premier
Board Expectations: Avoid Relegation
Danish Cup-3rd Round
Average Attendance - 885 - rubbish, the fifth lowest in the league
Players In-2 for £70K
Players Out-19 for £2K - A lot of the youth lads just didn’t deserve professional contracts
For some reason the league was a push over (the fact that we were lucky with injuries, settled first eleven, brilliant attacking football masterminded by a managing genius etc etc). With almost the same squad as last year we never looked like getting sucked into a relegation fight. For 20minutes on the last day of the season we were champions until AB beat Randers FC.
I resisted the temptation to splash the cash around and instead invested in a new striker and allowed the solid crop of youngsters now being produced every year to provide the back-up. My 17 year old AMC got bids from Marseille of £1.5M during January but he was happy to stay and I was happy to keep him. A freebie striker I grabbed on a Bosman a few years ago was the League's top scorer with 21 goals.

Mini update - really struggling to avoid relegation and then just before the Christmas break I was whopped 7-0 by Brondby.
Didn't like it, got quite annoyed and sulked around at home all day.
That's all I have to say about that.

You'll be happy to know that Brøndby themselves got a good whipping yesterday. 4-1 against this years surprise package Horsens |

Hey Donald - you seem to know your Danish leagues so a question for you if I may.
IRL do Brondby and Kobenhavn dominate the league as they do in FM? Or do other teams get the occasional look in? Thanks in advance for any info...
Oh and apologies for the slight wish of stereotypying in the topic header - it was the best of a bad bunch -
1) Probably the best update in the world
2) Vikings came from Russia too you know
and
3) 4-1 to The Denmark! 4-1 to The Denmark!

I tried managing a Danish side called Aarus Fremad that Frank picked me.
I struggled like hell, got promotion fairly easily but just couldn't do anything about the money bleeding out of the club.
After 4 seasons I gave up and started a new save. Well done on enduring it into the Premier league.
