What is it that you enjoy most about being an LLM'er ?
Been thinking about this one, over the last couple of days - so am gonna post the question. What is it that you enjoy most about being an LLM ?
For me - I guess it's about the challenge of having a go with a small, unfasionable side and seeing how far I can take them, when you have 'peanuts' from which to build your side. I also enjoy finding gems of players, and building them up - sometimes to stick with my side, or go on to bigger and better things.
Much better than managing at the top, for me.

The challenge. Any idiot can manage a top club to success within a couple of seasons without any real problems. LLM takes time, patience and you get to see the fruits of your labour when you eventually get that long awaited promotion.
It's the highs and lows of LLM that keep it interesting.

I have always enjoyed finding 'gems' of players and even in my early days of non LLM playing I still spent wisely and tried to find bargain players.
There is a real sense of achievement when you turn a failing club around. The power of LLM is akin to 'The Force' in that you feel each result as if you are actually the RL manager.
As for the forum, I think Ian has said it before about the LL posters are of like minded in terms of values but have diverse interests and opinions which make the forum above and beyond the likes of TT&T and GPG.

In my own experience, i would compare it to a book called "The Diceman" by Luke Rhinehart. His life was boring and mundane before he experienced "Dicelife", my Football management career was boring and mundane prior to discovering LLM.
Footnote: I'm currently still in the process of reading said book, so please do not ruin the ending and uncovering any secrets as to why "Dicelife" is not the way ahead.
