...with International jobs? Do you apply for them as a LLM?
What about when they are offered to you? If you take the international job for a country that you have not loaded on game start, does the game generate sufficient players from that nation to provide you with a rewarding international experience, or does it create too many and flooding your host country?
E.g you are playing in England and take the French national job, do English teams end up being full of French players?
I'm in 2011 and a lot of regens are coming through now, but most of them are no where near as good as the ones I currently have in my Ivorian international squad. I'm worried my game is filling up with these rather than players from my host nation of Italy
I agree with Ian: I take Int. jobs only once I've put the time in, had some success, and have managed at a relatively prestigious level. FWIW, I never apply for them. As for the overloading, I can't say that I have ever noticed that. I had a save a few months back where I managed Denmark for several years. I didn't have the nation active, but there was a decent pool and other nations were not flooded with Danes.
Over the last 3 seasons I've been offered at least one, sometimes two, international positions. I've always turned them down. I feel uneasy with this dual club/country role.
Given that my primary league in my current save is England (and I'm English), if I were offered the England post I'd possibly accept it and resign as manager of whatever club I'm managing.
I never apply, the countries can find me if they want me.
Sometimes, when I just resigned from a nation, I promise myself I'll never manage a country again. Then I get offered a good country and, ffs, I accept it.
I enjoy the International jobs mostly, though I never apply to them I wait till they think I am good enough to take them.Fun jobs I have had in present save, Spain Turkey.
I don't put my name in for any international jobs, though in my current save after five decent seasons I was offered the job by my beloved Canada.
Had the nation who approached me been a major European or South American nation, I'd have turned that down as unrealistic, but with it being Canada, there isn't exactly a lot to choose from, and someone having relative success managing in a foreign nation would be on football's radar screen here in Canada pretty quickly.
