I never apply and rarely take them. But if it is realistic I do think twice about it. Accepted Norway when they approached me as I was the only Norwegian manager available, and I had been fairly successful over time. And Norway were placed about 65th. Wouldn't take jobs with countries high on the chart.

That said, I'm getting quite bored with the thing now, and will resign as soon as it would be likely. Liked it at first, but now it's just a continue-excercise. International management sucks arse.

Only managed them for a few years, but haven't seen any surge in Norwegian players. Been from 35-40 from the beginning.

Wasn't my happiest experience in the game though

That was when I lost 1-0 to Anderlecht, with the goal in the 89th minute, in the UEFA Cup Final as East Stirling \o/ - delicious masochism

I have never enjoyed my experiences of international management. I find the selection process painful and the reluctance of the system to allow you to replace injured players in matches and tournaments leaves a squad very threadbare!

Stan... you can't replace injured players mid tournament. It's FIFA rules.
