Default Bit early for an FM2007 discussion thread but...

Just reading the sticky about FM2007 being released for Xmas and the bit which caught my eye was concerning feeder clubs - that a small team could now have an arrangement with a bigger club.

Thoughts?

Oh, I see scouting is being revamped too...

If they implement the feeder club thing correctly it would be a nice enhancement.

Do the big English clubs have English feeder clubs or is it only European feeders?

Scouting can obviously be improved so I would be interested to see what the enhancements are likely to be.

Well I still maintain that FM06 was too easy cause the AI mangers were too bloody stupid, playing players out of position etc. And certainly I hope the Million quid for a 10K player bug is fixed. By personal choice since CM04 I have not loaned players into my LL clubs as I think it did make life a little easy at times and also I prefer give my only crap players a chance rather than giving somebody else’s crap players a chance. So while the feeder club is a nice idea I don’t know how much I’ll use it. I think SI have a bit of a problem now because they have got so much in the game anything they add now will just seem like a gimic......

If they are going to revamp scouting it should be to make it take 20 "visits" to see a players attributes. Ofcourse really good scouts might take less and you may want to send your ass man along to scout a player too and if you play against a team then every member of the team gets slightly more "scouted".... anyone know what I mean or am I just rambeling :o

The term "aquaplaning" can no longer be used it must now be called "a bad run of form". And it has been added as a feature in FM07 ... no code was changed in the making of this new feature

The scouting revamp looks great.

It appears that scouts will have a working knowledge of players available in their respective countries. I'm guessing this will be related to the reputation of the scout. Ones that we use for LLM will be crap like everything else i'd imagine
