The biggest problem, LLM wise, would be if it was implemented and it could work both ways, ManUre using Eastleigh as a feeder club and sending out their youngsters for loan spells and artificially launching Eastleigh on a meteoric rise through the tables.
I hate the idea.

| Same here.
I will just love the feature, where AI teams will suddenly became feeder teams for 1st level clubs, get bunch of youngsters and at the end of ti got promtoed way ahead of you, non-feeder team.
IMHO FM2007 didn't need all those extra features. What it needs is to get things that were fecked up in FM2006 correct.

| Yep. Revamping the scouting (and Matt says it'll be an improvement) is good, but getting the job centre to work or making the AI use the trial option for unattached players, or sorting out the transfer/wage demand problems would be more beneficial.
Oh, although Ian's right that feeder clubs are banned by the FA in England/Scotland, I'm sure I did read somewhere that they were looking into the idea...

I can understand people's problems with the possibility of a bigger loaning an LL cllub some of their brightest starlets as this would indeed remove some of the challenge out of the game. But...
Two points. Firstly I think it'd be highly unlikely that ManYoo or any other Premier League club would loan players out to clubs that were still on a part time setup - surely they would only involve League 2 clubs (or foreign equal) or above. Thus us LLM would still start off with no help scratching around for the 1 point hoofers to improve our sides.
Secondly, if, IRL, clubs at this level are having to sign up to this sort of set-ups to survive and guarantee a steady influx of talent then surely, as players who believe in the LLM ethos, we should be open to sign up for this. The clubs at this aren't willing to gamble their futures on the possibility of finding the next star, they need a firmer gurantee that the quality will be in their squad

| They do in my game at the moment. Quote: |

| If feeder clubs are banned by the FA at the moment (and I'm sure they are) and if FM2007 has feeder clubs in the English/Scottish leagues, then it stops being realistic.
What we need is someone to clarify what the feeder clubs angle in the game actually means.

Liam: Some SI bod has already stated the feeder club thing won't be available amongst clubs in Poofland. It was only in the screenshots as to provide a view of how the thing was done.
It's just like the regen having the 'ask <regen> if he can recommend a new assistant manager', enabled now as they're pre-alpha but properly working (/me crosses fingers) for the gold release.
