The general consensus is praising players at half time is bad. I say 'nuts' to that. If they've been going well and I'm happy I say so, but if I'm not happy (even if we are winning) then they hear about it

Don't go asking too many questions questions that may be construed as requesting tips :eek:

However, without getting too specific, individual talks are there, and I use them

From SI's post at the top of this here forum, it appears they're going to institute pre-match talks as well.

i was give encouraging or none, anything else especially positive and my team always does worse in the 2nd half.
