Hi, first this is not a "say me a team topic"...

I'm looking forward to start a new game in Conference North/South. The
thing is that I have started a game with these divisons,and I've seen
the general information of these. That's the point: I don't want 'any'
team, from a generator for instance. I would like to know the
background of them, and take my own decision, with no special care to
failure/success possibilities. It's just it'll probably will be a long
game, and I would like a team with I 'like'. I'm Catalan and I don't
know english clubs at this level: I don't know if there's one that is
symbol of something (working-class? the city?), or if it has a long
history. I've read a bit

For example, according to fundation dates in the created game, seems
Northwich Victoria is the most historical, founded in 1874. Seems a
good candidate, but according to Wikipedia,

seems recently it was forced to relegation by causes don't clearly explained, why?

It has to do with the finances of the club, debts and such when they go into administration. They can be docked points like Scarbrough this year and be relegated even though there performance on the pitch was enough

I'm from Maidenhead, Maidenhead United are my local team in the Conference South.

They were founded in 1870 and are the oldest club in the country to still be playing at their original ground. And yes, the ground is 'miedra'

The team have struggled this season and would be a worthy team to take on :thup:

Victoria's ground wasn't to Conference National standards, and iirc they were in administration aswell at the time, both meaning automatic demotion as per the Conference rules.
