Introduction

Hi all, I started my 1st proper LLM and have stuck to all the guidelines etc. I have found this LLM experience extremely enjoyable so far and will continue to keep you updated.

So Frank sent me to Dorchester in the Conference South. Full Database loaded. English League only.

Dorchester - Season 1

Board Expectations - Mid-table
My Expectations - Promotion
Players In - 7 (£0)
Players Out - 2 (£1K)

After a fantastic start to the season (19 games unbeaten), I was second at Xmas only 1 point behind leaders Weymouth. 2006 was a different story all together and eventually finished the season in 3rd place going into the playoff's in bad form.
I scraped through the semi-final playoff against St.Albans on penalties and went onto to clinch promotion after defeating Welling in the final 1-0 aet. On to the Conference National at the 1st time of asking. Happy Days!

Conference South - 3rd - Pld42 Pts72FA Cup - 1st Round
FA Trophy - 3rd Qual Round

Dorchester - Season 2

Board Expectations - Battle bravely against relegation
My Expectations - Back to Back promotions

I made the silly mistake of setting high expectations after my succesful start to LLM! I realised that this was going to be tough after getting just 3 points on the board after 12 games! :thdn:

The season didnt get much better and I was relegated with 3 games to go and finished 23rd! Although I did win my last 2 games! Typical.

Back to the conference south. Note to self - dont set such high standards in future!!

Conference National - 23rd Pld46 Pts31
FA Cup - 4th Qual Round
FA Trophy - Qtr Finals

Dorchester - Season 3

Board Expectations - Win promotion
My Expectations - Win promotion

So back to the drawing board. Brought a few more players in via the scout. Also got a new phsio and coach. Bought a big name oldie for one last pay day!

An up and down season in all, always there or there abouts. My star name didnt live up to expectations, only scoring 14 all season. (he is a striker BTW!)
Eventually scraped the playoffs again after a solid end of season. Beat Histon 4-2 in semis, Brushed past Hendon 3-0 in final before a nervous triumph against Southport in the North/South playoff. Up to the nationals again!

Like a bleeding yo-yo!!

Conference South - 5th Pld46 Pts76
FA Cup 3rd Qual Round
FA Trophy - 1st Round

Dorchester - Season 4

Board Expectations - Battle bravely against relegation
My Expectations - Battle bravely against relegation

Brought 9 players in for £0 and let 10 go on freebies. Another dire start and before I knew where I was I was bottom again!!

After Xmas I picked up a lot and the form, team morale and spirit was all good. The boys were playing good football! I even reached the dizzy heights of 11th at one point!!

After a slight wobble in the last couple of games I ended up a respectable 16th in the league. Was chuffed! Now I need to push onwards and upwards (I hope!)

Conference National - 16th Pld46 Pts45
FA Cup - 1st Round
FA Trophy - Qtr Finals
