Dorchester - Season 10

My Expectations - Top 10 / Promotion

Let me just clear this up quickly, after much thought on the West Ham job offer I refused the position. I simply didnt have the heart to leave Dorchester! It turned out to be a good decision....

After receiveing title odds of 5/1 I was optimistic that with the addition of 4 new players I could make a push for promotion. A club record run of 21 games unbeaten saw me in 2nd place in January and just 2 points behind league leaders Huddersfield.

The situation didnt change much through to April until I went on a 6 game winless run! Thankfully all the other teams around me were having a similar run of form! I slipped to 3rd but managed to clinch automatic promotion on goal difference despite losing 1-0 on the final day of the season!

As for the cups, fell at the first hurdle in the FA and League cups but went to the semis of the LDV Vans

Onto League one.....Come on Dorchy!!

LDV Vans - Semi-Finals

P.S West Ham were saved from the drop by 3 points. Bring them on in Season 11

Dorchester - Season 11

Board Expectations - Battle bravely against relegation
My Expectations - What the board said!

So Dorchester reach the dizzy heights of League 1 footy. The media asked me if they thought the players I currently had would be good enough to survive, my decision to only bring in 2 players on free transfers answered that I thought they were.

15 games in and my faith was being well justified. Im 8th and only 2 points off the playoffs. However from then on I put together the most inconsistant run ever. Only winning back to back games once for the rest of the season. Despite this I was still 13th going into the last game of the season. I lost 5-0 and finsihed 17th!

Oh well, in all im happy with the debut League 1 season and although I never moved anywhere other than mid-table all season, my objective of staying up was comfortably achieved. :thup:
