Default Deeply stupid matches

Has anyone else noticed that the game has a tendency to throw up some utterly ridiculous matches from time to time?

In my current save I had a few of them at Naval - usually against Boavista - and I've just played a UEFA Cup match against Levante. The score was 4-4 at half time and finished 6-4 at the end, with a penalty for each team.

(On another note: that game came 4 days after Levante sacked their manager - not a good week for them, methinks.)

yeah, I've had a few high scoring games. 6-4s, 6-5s, 7-2s etc. I also had two successive 8-0 defeats in my current save but that was probably more down to being ***** than any other reason.

I've always found FM/CM throws up the odd daft result though.

What about Argies 6 - 0 S(&M)?

It does happen IRL, so it's only be an issue if it occurs many many times, and not if it's from time to time

Playing as Regensburg I just got beat 8-2 at home by Dresden.

As if thats not bad enough they were 3rd from bottom and I am 2nd from bottom.

It was fully deserved mind - we were rubbish.

Didn't need the board telling me they weren't impressed though. Do they think I was happy?

Having clocked up over 1,000 matches in my Lanzarote save, I reckon I have seen 6 goals scored (for or against) no more than a dozen times. So thats one in approximately every two seasons.

My theory, is than you perceive there to be more high scoring games, as the munber of games completed in a session far exceeds what you would see in real life.
