Season 20/22 Spain WC Qualifying
Group 6
Sweden Poland Macedonia Slovakia Spain and Azerbaijan.
We start poorly, drawing 4 games and 1 win.Our favorite score is 2-2.We are in 3rd spot behind Sweden And Poland.Change of tactics and bringing in a 23yo Striker brings better results, away win against Sweden 4-2 followed by 4 straight victories see Spain top the group by 1 point.

Pre-Season
2 signings Str and an experienced CB.Lots of youth junk released.Board decides to improve ground with Under-soil heating.
Open Season
Pl-19 W-9 D-7 L-3 F-44 A-28 P-34 Pos-7th
New Str Breaks leg in 1st game, will sit out next 6 months.2nd game 1st Choice CK also breaks leg, he sits out rest of season. Game 4 MC and playmaker has a cruciate injury and he also sits out rest of open Season.Injuries once again ruin the season and we finish a dissappointing 7th.
Copa SudaAmerica knocked out 1st round by Nova Iguacu of Brazil.
Mid-Season
4 reserves are sold off, sick of the whiny bastages asking for game time.No purhcases but 1 U20 is promoted to 1st teams squad.
Closed Season
We start slowly losing 1st game and drawing next 3 leaving us in 19th spot after 4 games.What happens next, stuns me as the team went on a goal scoring rampage, beating Boca 4-1 away 5-0 over San Lorenzo and 4-0 over Banfield.From here the team looks unbeatable and we go on to record 14 wins and a draw from 15 games.

Copa Liberatores
Prelimaries we draw Guarani (PAR) and cane them 8-1agg
Through to the 1st round(Same system as the ECL) We go on a feeding frenzy of the other nations champion teams scoring 19 in 6 games and 0 against.
Quarterfinal v Nacional(URU) win 5-3agg
Semifinal v America(MEX) they gave us a real touch up in the away leg 3-0 looks like our cup run is over. In the home leg its 3-2 at half time, we hand them a 6-2 mauling and we are into the cup final by a whisker.
Final v Colon we lose the away leg 3-2 really exciting game as both teams attack each other.
H 3-1 again a very exciting match, end to end the game went but we were the better in front of goal.

Team fails to perform as goals are hard to come by but we do manage to qualify 2nd behind Mexico.
Rd2 ITALY I see who we draw and I realise its all over for me, they beat us 1-0 in a game we should have won but once again Spanish Striker legs turn to water and couldnt hit the broad side of a barn.
Brazil go on to win against IRELAND :eek:2-0

Been offered Sao Paulo Job, heavy weights of Brazalian Leagues. 75k ground probably 100mil budget, going to sit on it for a bit, not sure I want to leave Instituto just yet.

After feeling that I had achieved all there is to achieve in Argentina, I turned myself to my next challenge. Colombia

Facilities Basic
Going to take a bit of time to build these guys up, but I needed a new challenge and these guys look to be exaxctly that.

I have had more transfer kitty than cash i the bank. I'll happily post how/why but dont know if it counts as tipping?
It is certainly easy to achieve though in my experience.
