Squad holds together during offseason, losing an U20 CB whos crap.No buys, but get 5 players from the youth academy, including a very promising CB, who immediatly signs for crosstown rivals Belgrano.Never had a chance to offer him a contract!

We start well winning 1st 4 games including a famous victory over Boca Jrs 2-0 but injuries see us plummet into relegation. Key players return and we pick ourselves up again. Was hoping for better than 13th.
Midseason break 4 1st teamers leave squad. Aging LW,I sell off, get an offer of 11mil for Cultured Striker I take the benjamins, CM and RW leave on Minimum release clauses.Bring in 6 players and promote 2 U20s to 1st team.

With 7 games to go we were running 1st, 4 points clear of 2nd.We play 2nd placed San Lorenzo at home and lose a dodgy game 1-0, Right foot of god shoots from everywhere and they go anywhere but near the goal, no superkeeper, striker went to water.Following this game we lead Boca Jrs 3-0 with 30 minutes to go, of course they draw it,GRRR!Lose next 3 games and we plummet like a Lead Zeppelin.
Injuries once again to key personnel see us lose a shot at the title, we are a bit short of depth in defence which caused both seasons to fall apart.
U20's win there 3rd title in 4years.

Start with 3 friendlies against USA 0-1 loss. Colombia 1-2 loss and Jamaica 4-1win.
Copa America Hosts Bolivia Holders Brazil
Group B Argentina Bolivia Colombia Ecuador
1st game against Argentina is a pearl, play all over them but can only manage a 2-2 draw.Next Ecuador, tight game we win 1-0.Colombia, we need to win to qualify, key players on yellow cards, so make a few changes, we cane them 5-1.
Quarter-final we draw Argentina. and lose 2-0
Record is Pl7 W3 D1 L3 F13 A9.
Not bad 1st year as international coach, team is difficult to pick at 1st as few players are getting games, later I have more form to pick from and team really improves.

I'D say, they actually expected to win the Copa America!!!! Hello but Argentina and Brazil have teams worth well over 200mill each, have THE BEST players on the planet, while I was virtually putting up a reserve team. ie players who play in reserve grade for the perspective clubs, makes it damn hard to beat them.

Bring to squad an experienced CB for 5.2 mil, need some guts at the back after last season.4 Youth players come through, they're all crap.3 kids out on frees more youth academy junk.

Very poor season as once again injury plays havoc with squad, 4 players out for most of season top Striker only players 13/19 games and 1st choice goalie has 3 injuries in the Open season.Big 3 give us a real lesson 4-2 Indiependente 4-2 Boca and a 3-1 loss to River at home.Damn these teams are so far ahead of us.
Midseason
3 players in 2 FBs and an Experienced MC. 1 out FB for 6mil

Again injuries play havoc with the squad ,2 years in row we have had an appalling injury run, once again losing 1st choice goalie for long periods.2nd Choice plays ok but hes not in same field as the No.1.
3 players brought into team fail to make an impact, after showing a great deal of faith in them, we fall into relegation, and I revert back to the youngsters from the Open season. We limp out of relegation with 2 last game wins.
Players in 4/7.2mil

Right Foot of God scores 30/32 games and is named as ARG player of year.
Im really enjoying this campaign, Argentine football is tough, owned by 3 teams,Ill catch these 3 buggers 1 day, will probably take me another 5-7 years before I'll challenge them. My reputation is still local, no cups so no bullshit rep gains.
