Season 10/11

After sitting out over 2 years, I was finally offered a job in 2nd Division Argentina, team was

Tigre
Right from word 1 I can see that the defence is a real problem here. Next transfer window isnt till december.Just going to have to make do I guess.

Finances 1.42mil Ground Cap 25k 4k seated
Transfer bud: 701k Training facilities Very basic.

Started in 19th spot, 11 games 2 wins 4 draws 5 losses, only 5 points separate 13th and 19th.This is a close run comp.
We win our 1st 2 games under my management. We lose the 3rd game 6-0 to Lanus,2nd in comp. Bringing us back to earth.Lanus really found out our lack in defence, I didnt think wed recover from this loss, but we strung some good results and finished 11th in the 1st leg.
Pl W D L F A P Pos
19 7 4 8 30 39 25 11th

Couldnt buy a single CB in the transfer window. Mustve gone for over 20 players, but not 1 would sign.Did manage to get a right winger and a DM.

2nd half of season was poor or defence just isnt good enough and we finish the season:

Pl W D L F A P Position
19 8 0 11 35 39 25 15

Av Attendence 3500
Players in 5/375k
Players out 2 3.0mil

Overall a decent season, both my gun strikers wanted out early and they both became goal shy after been signed out.Defence is a real problem, got 1 old CB whose efforts this year were terrible. Also got a very ordinary left back where we leaked alot of goals.
Losing both strikers for next year will be a challenge for the next generation. At this point not too confident on next season.

Brazil isn't a jungle, that's true. After all, almost all of it was removed already. Timber!

That's a bit harsh. perhaps you should have said 'Dear friend, i'm afraid you are incorrect in your statement relating to Brazil being a Jungle, it is in fact a sprawling metropolis with occasional greenery and some stunning beaches. @rshole.'.
