Oh, by the way, the Scottish FA was soo desperate for a NT Manager, they asked me to take the reins so on 1 July 2007, I accept. That means two things regarding the Season 3 update.
First, I get the kilted wonders INTO the Euro Championships by beating Azerbaijan, Poland and Lithuania, whilst losing to SPain and Belgium.
Second, I was the manager of Scotland when England hung the 4:0 beating on them.
Of course for the WC QUalifiers, I get England in my group again!!!!
Yeah, but its a game. Its MY game. If the AI of FM is THAT Artificial I'm going to try it. Ive been playing this game since 01/02 came out. Its the first time Ive ever tried an International job. And I wanted to be sure that the job I got was for a country that was loaded into the game, and not, say, Thailand.
Midseason Report Season 4- Maidenhead currently 11th Place Conf Nqational
Only 3 points clear of the drop in the Conference National, Mansfield come calling right after Christmas. They offer me 550 per week--ALOT more than the 95 per week I'm making at the time. But with a wage bill way over the top and no money for transfers, I turn them down despite the fact they are professional and have much better facilities. But after the New Year, I get 2 very enticing offers: Mid-Table Seria B Cesena offer me 1100/wk and a transfer budget of 1.6 Million. But Dunfermline Athletic in the land of Kilts Division 1 offer me 2900/week and a transfer budget of 700,000. They're about 15000/month in the red on salaries, so that needs to come down. Despite that, I decide to take the offer and move North. (In all the years I'v played this game, its the first time I move out of England) I leave Maidenhead in 11th place and turning a profit of about 15,000/month.
Dunfermline are barely above the drop, so my work is cut out for me but I'll see what I can do for them.
Would never see a Conference manager managing the jocks. Not even they are that desperate. Three seasons managing Maidenhead would not get you the job.
