OK, one season on, and my game is on trouble, because of the very reason that I started this thread.
I battled against relegation during my first season as League 2 newcomers until the final day, where I needed a win, and either one of two other teams needed to draw or lose.
I thumped the opposition 7-0 (best result all season), but the other two teams also won, so I'm headed back to the conference national.
Over the course of this season my attendences started clawing back up from ~300 fans at the start to ~800 fans by the end.
Relegation sees us slip back into the Conference National, which I left just over a year ago with ~3000 fans per game and I'm now getting ~200 people. Cash is falling outta my ar5e like theres no tomorrow. If I'd never gained promtion I'd probably still have attendances around the 300 mark, but instead good performance means I'm going to bankrupt the club unless I sell the only talent capable of keeping us in this division.
