It’s a bit like the Old West in here. Ian, is the sheriff about town and pretty much decides on a daily basis what the law is, naturally he only tells us that the law is after we have broken it. :eek:

*Forgot to mention Offered USA job...turned it down with some hesitation, but I didn't feel as if I'd earned it yet.

Elgin 09/10 Second Divison (redux)

Signed a DL from Dundee on a free. Signed a D/M C on a free from Kilmarnock. 3 players out on free transfers. Signed a new AssMan as mine was poached by Morton.

We ended the year with 71 goals, a new Elgin record, topping last season by 3. We conceded 45, which gives us our career best G.D. (and fewest conceded since 06/07--42). Leading scorer is once again our target man with 27 but he has some support this year again.

It was enough for survival, but little more. We managed 17 wins (again, a new club record), but suffered 13 losses. We end the year 5th. 3 points of a playoff spot.
