If that's all your scout could find that's all you'd sign!

Most of them have since been released, and about 20 others are 'unhappy about the lack of first team football'.

East Stirling 15/16 - Scottish Premier League, and Scotland

Brought in 6 players totalling £1.3m as I really wanted to push for the title, or at least a Champion's League spot, this season. Out went the two top scorers for £5.7m (the 18 year old went to Liverpool for £5m).

Okay, bear with me here, this'll probably be longer than expected.

The title race came down to the very last game, Rangers were 1st on 82pts (+43) and Celtic 2nd with 80 pts (+30). We were 3rd with 79 pts and (+41). The thing in our favour was that Rangers and Celtic had both played all 38 games, we had one left - at home to Hibs (who 2 days earlier drew 0-0 with Rangers and 2 days before that won 2-0 at Parkhead). Basically, we had to win by 2 goals to get the title, a draw would be enough for Champions League qualification.

So, the title decider then, I had my masterplan in place, and the match was started, so of course Hibs score early on. ********. We hung in through a bit of pressure and just before half-time won a penalty via a long-throw. Up steps 28 yo Panama international but he smacks his shot off the goalie. Just as I'm shouting at his little blob on the 2D screen the ball come across and the Hibs centre-half scores an own goal. Yay! We score again not long after half time with the goal coming from an on loan Hearts player (don't you just love it?), then we get another penalty and this time Panama man scores. On-loan-Hearts-bloke scores again just before the end to win us the title on goal difference.

Other highlights: We retained the League Cup beating Killie in the final, and we recorded a 4-0 victory over Newcastle in the UEFA Cup. (We lost the return leg 4-2).

Scotland

Qualifiers: 3-0 v Cyprus (H), 5-0 v Germany (H), 3-0 v Liechtenstein (A) - We topped the Euro 2016 qualifing group

Friendlies: Andorra 8-0 (H) and Ireland 1-0 (H)

Ok, Euro 2016 - Group was Switzerland (1-0), the hosts, Serbia (2-1) and Sweden (2-0). Beat Croatia 4-0 in the quarters and Holland 2-1 aet in the semis. 10-man France beat us 1-0 in the final. That striker I sold to Liverpool scored a hat-trick in the Croatia game and finished as top scorer and best player.

Happened in my East Stirling game with Livingston - must be a bug. Livvie had a first team squad of about 20, half of whom were goalies.

Mega-congrats on your achievement. I could never get closer than 30 points to the Old Firm.
