Basically, I'm about to start my first ever LLM game and I was wondering what the consensus is regarding manager nationality.

Frank has picked the Slovenian team NK Factor for me - should my manager therefore come from Slovenia? Or does this not particularly matter in the scheme of things?

Doesn't matter. We tend to use our own nationality.

It's kind of split, some people use the nationality of the country they manage in, others use their own. Either way, it's up to you, and neither would be frowned upon.

I prefer to use my own nationality. Wouldn't want to see any other flag by my name. Being Australian also cuts down on ridiculous job offers. :thup:

You won't get many job offers if being Slovenian even when managing in Slovenia. I was a champion with Svoboda and in 8 years time, I got two job offers.
However, NK Factor are a pretty decent team to start with. They have some quality and money.

Nah, I'll keep being Andorran when managing in Spain and anything else when managing abroad.
