Hi, I've opened this thread to ask for any advice that you have in regards to setting up an LLM 'sister' site for an existing fansite.
Over at FM-Britain.co.uk there is talk of openning an LLM section with an aim of acting as an alternative for this site at the same time as respecting the integrity of all the Guidelines and the whole LLM ethos in general.
The initial stepping stone is the fact that the existing site is virtually LLM hell in the way that there is guides and tips everywhere which is why the LLM secton is going to be completely seperate to the main site. Gaz has suggested that we have a system where you can choose whether or not you play the game the LLM way or not when you register and this then determines the forums which you will encounter. Obviousely if you select LLM you'll see all the LLM forums and whatever sub-forums are required but you won't see the T&TT and the GPG.
Another issue which is going to pop up is that we have very few (aka none ) members that actually play strictly LLM. So this is the main area that we are looking for advice. We want mods that are going to protect the integrity of the forum and features that are going to attract you LLaMas to the site.
Any suggestions or comments, both positive and negative are more than welcome!

Yes we are looking for a few people who would be up to moderate the forum. It is not my decision who the Moderator is, that's up to Gaz but I will let him know everyone who is interested. Plus he is a Geordie to so you might have a chance

Yea I understand that about the forum having to be moderated by the guys who play.
Would you also be interested in putting your name forward to help out should this go ahead? You seem to have done a fantastic job here.
I think we are probably going to try to get about three Mod's initially and maybe take on more should the area become more active.
